Meet Dr. Erickson

Robert C. Erickson, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Oakland Ophthalmic Surgery, serving patients in Birmingham and Troy, MI. Dr. Erickson specializes in cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment and laser surgery.

Dr. Erikson is a graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. Dr. Erickson completed his residency in ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, where he was awarded the honor of Chief Resident.

Dr. Erickson has been recognized as one the Top Doctors in the Detroit metropolitan area by “Hour Magazine”. In addition, Dr. Erickson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Michigan State Medical Society, the Oakland County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
